How the listings were checked, what each certification label rests on, how listings are ordered, and the limits of those checks.
How this list is ordered
Listings are ordered by tier first — Featured, then Enhanced with per-lead opt-in, then Enhanced, then free — and within each tier by certification: ABPS-verified first, then facial-board, then other-board, claimed, and unknown. Within each paid tier, listings rotate daily inside their certification group; free listings do not rotate. Featured and Enhanced are paid tiers and are labelled as paid on every profile; paid placement is not an endorsement and not a quality ranking. No practice currently pays for placement, so today’s order is certification order within the free tier.
How certification was checked — and its limits
ABPS-verified means a record in the ABPS directory or a named society/ABMS record. Facial and other boards are named as such, never conflated with ABPS. Claimed means only the practice’s own site asserts certification. Unknown means no certification was found in the sources checked — flagged honestly, never guessed. A record that is not current certification is not credited as verified.
Specialties on a profile are only what the source explicitly named: a generic category tag is never counted as a specific procedure — procedure pages count only listings whose source explicitly names that procedure.
Individual surgeon profiles never list prices, and this site holds no Florida price data at launch. The binding number is the written quote at consultation.
Always confirm a surgeon’s current credentials before a consultation: check the ABPS directory directly and the Florida Board of Medicine. This site is a directory of public information, not medical advice and not a recommendation of any surgeon.
Paid tiers are labelled as paid wherever they appear; placement is never an endorsement or a quality ranking, and payment never changes a certification label.
